Standing in the rain

You crumble under the controlling winds

My tongue tastes natures bitter metallic warnings

Of a lifetime coming

On watching you bleed

The scratching of ill defeated fingertips

Scarring your skin

Leaning against a brick wall

Hopelessly watching everyone else

Be what I never was

Interchanging forked tongues

erasing me

My wounds blend into the background

The light that goes unseen
